Seacliff Oak is a light greige oak that reads warm in daylight and neutral at night. It works with both grey and warm-white walls. Metropol Oak is a long-board 6.5mm hybrid with an embossed-in-register oak texture and a ceramic-bead coating for extra scratch resistance – made for living. Because Metropol Oak is waterproof and hard wearing, Seacliff Oak can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its light tone helps smaller or south-facing rooms feel larger and hides dust and pet hair better than very dark floors.

Installation and care

Metropol Oak floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Boards click together with the Uniclic® watertight system and need no glue, and the attached backing means no extra underlay. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.

Yes. The limestone-composite core is waterproof, so it is suitable for bathrooms and laundries when installed to Godfrey Hirst’s guidelines.

Do I need underlay?
No. A 1.5mm acoustic underlay is already attached to every board.

How many boxes do I need?
Each box covers 1.33m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 1.33.
