Metropol Oak is a long-board 6.5mm hybrid with an embossed-in-register oak texture and a ceramic-bead coating for extra scratch resistance – made for living. Hyams Oak is one of 10 colours in the range.

Because Metropol Oak is waterproof and hard wearing, Hyams Oak can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its mid tone is the most forgiving choice for everyday marks and suits almost any wall colour.

Installation and care

Metropol Oak floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Boards click together with the Uniclic® watertight system and need no glue, and the attached backing means no extra underlay. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.

No. A 1.5mm acoustic underlay is already attached to every board.

How many boxes do I need?
Each box covers 1.33m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 1.33.
