These figures apply to Mystique, not every carpet tile range. Where sound performance matters, request acoustic data for the exact backing and installed floor system. How Many Carpet Tiles Do You Need?

A 500 × 500mm carpet tile covers 0.25m², so four tiles cover 1m². A 20m² room would need 80 tiles before allowing for cuts, layout and spare tiles. For a product packed at 5m² per box, that is four boxes before any extra allowance.

Measure the full area, agree the cutting and spare allowance for your layout, then round up to complete boxes using the selected product’s box coverage. Keep matching spare tiles for future repairs; pack sizes and laying requirements vary between ranges.
