Terra Mater RigidCore Summit Chiffon – warm golden-tan oak hybrid flooring

Chiffon is the warm golden-tan oak colour in the RigidCore Summit range. RigidCore Summit is the flagship Resiplank hybrid: a 9.7mm plank with a 0.7mm wear layer, a 6-star acoustic rating and an embossed-in-register surface, in wide 225mm boards that read like real timber. Chiffon is one of 10 colours in the range.

Why choose RigidCore Summit Chiffon

  • Waterproof rigid-core hybrid – will not swell or warp, so it can be laid throughout the home including kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.
  • 0.7mm wear layer – built for pets, kids and high-traffic living areas.
  • Quiet underfoot – pre-attached acoustic backing, AAAC 6 Star rated; no separate underlay needed.
  • Click installation – floats over most existing hard floors; no glue, fast installation.
  • 25-year residential warranty from Terra Mater.

Where it works best

Because RigidCore Summit is waterproof and hard wearing, Chiffon can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its mid tone is the most forgiving choice for everyday marks and suits almost any wall colour.

Installation and care

RigidCore Summit floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Planks click together and need no glue. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install it in a bathroom?
Yes. The rigid core is waterproof, so it is suitable for bathrooms and laundries when installed to Terra Mater’s guidelines.

Do I need underlay?
No. An acoustic backing is already attached to every plank.

How many cartons do I need?
Each carton covers 1.638m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 1.638.
