Bolton is the dark grey-brown oak colour in the Sunstar Maxi Hybrid hybrid range. Bolton is the dark grey-brown oak colour in the Maxi Hybrid range. Maxi Hybrid is the wide-board 7mm plank: 1830 x 230mm with a P5 slip rating, an AC4 surface and a Unilin click joint, the volume seller in the Sunstar hybrid range. Bolton is one of 10 colours in the range.

Because Maxi Hybrid is waterproof and hard wearing, Bolton can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its dark tone works best in bright, generous rooms and gives strong contrast to pale walls and light furniture.

Installation and care

Maxi Hybrid floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Planks click together and need no glue. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.

Yes. The rigid core is waterproof, so it is suitable for bathrooms and laundries when installed to Sunstar’s guidelines.

Do I need underlay?
No. An acoustic backing is already attached to every plank.

How many cartons do I need?
Each carton covers 2.1m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 2.1.
