Sunstar Australian Hardwood Naturals Blackbutt Feature Brush Finish 136mm Engineered Timber Flooring

Sunstar Australian Hardwood Naturals Blackbutt Feature Brush Finish 136mm Engineered Timber Flooring brings genuine Australian hardwood into a room with the stability of modern engineered construction. The blackbutt veneer shows pale honey to golden-brown tones with a fine, even grain and occasional gum vein — one of Australia’s most recognised hardwoods, valued for its light colour and hard-wearing surface — so no two boards read exactly the same and the floor keeps the character of the species rather than the uniformity of a print.

Part of the Sunstar Australian Hardwood collection, this floor is built as a 14/3mm engineered board: a 3mm layer of real Australian hardwood over a multi-layer core that resists the seasonal movement solid timber is prone to in Australian conditions. A brushed surface follows the grain and adds texture underfoot, and it hides the marks of everyday life better than a flat finish. The 3mm wear layer is thick enough to be sanded and recoated later, so the floor can be refreshed rather than replaced.

Supplied in 136mm boards at 1900 x 136mm, 2.07m²/8 Planks per pack. The 136mm board width suits smaller rooms, hallways and heritage interiors where a narrower plank keeps the proportions right. Tongue and groove profiles allow either a floating installation over an acoustic underlay or a direct stick fix to concrete, and micro-bevel edges define each board without collecting dirt.

With a P4 slip rating, a 4 star acoustic rating and a 20 year residential warranty, Australian Hardwood Naturals Blackbutt Feature Brush Finish 136mm Engineered Timber Flooring is suited to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms and open-plan spaces in houses and apartments alike.

Sunstar Australian Hardwood Naturals Blackbutt Feature Brush Finish 136mm Engineered Timber Flooring is ideal for homeowners, renovators and designers who want a real Australian timber floor — the species, the grain and the ability to resand — with the stability, faster installation and predictable performance of an engineered board.
