Chameleon Pallas Quantum Braxton Oak – light greige oak hybrid flooring

Braxton Oak is the light greige oak colour in the Pallas Quantum range. Pallas Quantum is the flagship: a 12mm plank with a 0.7mm wear layer, a digitally printed surface rather than a repeating film, and a 2mm EVA acoustic underlay bonded to the back. Braxton Oak is one of 8 colours in the range.

Why choose Pallas Quantum Braxton Oak

  • Waterproof rigid-core hybrid – will not swell or warp, so it can be laid throughout the home including kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.
  • 0.7mm wear layer – built for pets, kids and high-traffic living areas.
  • Quiet underfoot – pre-attached acoustic backing, AAAC 5 Star rated; no separate underlay needed.
  • Click installation – floats over most existing hard floors; no glue, fast installation.
  • 25-year residential warranty from Chameleon.

Where it works best

Because Pallas Quantum is waterproof and hard wearing, Braxton Oak can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its light tone helps smaller or south-facing rooms feel larger and hides dust well.

Installation and care

Pallas Quantum floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Planks click together and need no glue. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.

Frequently asked questions

Can I install it in a bathroom?
Yes. The rigid core is waterproof, so it is suitable for bathrooms and laundries when installed to Chameleon’s guidelines.

Do I need underlay?
No. An acoustic backing is already attached to every plank.

How many cartons do I need?
Each carton covers 1.245m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 1.245.
