Godfrey Hirst Vista Whisper White – white-washed oak laminate flooring
Whisper White is a white-washed oak – the lightest colour in the range. It makes rooms feel larger and suits Scandi interiors. Vista is Godfrey Hirst’s entry laminate: an 8mm AC3 board on a high-density fibreboard core with Uniclic® joints and twelve Australian-inspired colours. Whisper White is one of 12 colours in the range.
Why choose Vista Whisper White
- AC3 wear rating – rated for normal residential use in bedrooms, living areas and hallways.
- High-density fibreboard core – stable, dense and quiet underfoot; not for bathrooms or laundries.
- Realistic timber look – embossed matte surface and micro-bevel edges give each plank the texture and shadow line of a real board.
- Uniclic® floating installation – boards click together over underlay; no glue, fast installation, easy to replace a board later.
- 20-year residential warranty from Godfrey Hirst, an Australian company since 1865.

Where it works best
Whisper White suits bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices. Laminate is not recommended for bathrooms or laundries. Its light tone helps smaller or south-facing rooms feel larger and hides dust well.
Installation and care
Vista floats over a flat, dry subfloor on a laminate underlay and needs no glue. Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a laminate cleaner – avoid steam mops and standing water.

Frequently asked questions
Is laminate waterproof?
No. Vista is not suitable for wet areas. For bathrooms and laundries look at hybrid or vinyl plank instead.
What does AC3 mean?
The AC rating measures abrasion resistance. AC3 is rated for all residential rooms including living areas and hallways.
How many boxes do I need?
Each box covers 2.16m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 2.16.
