Godfrey Hirst Apollo Hardwood Spotted Gum Riverbank Hybrid Flooring

Godfrey Hirst Apollo Hardwood Spotted Gum Riverbank – dark brown spotted gum hybrid flooring

Spotted Gum Riverbank is a dark brown spotted gum with deep grain. It suits traditional interiors and contrasts with pale walls. Apollo Hardwood reproduces Australian species – Blackbutt and Spotted Gum – on a narrow 152mm hybrid board, with the colour variation and gum veins of the real timber. Spotted Gum Riverbank is one of 10 colours in the range.

Why choose Apollo Hardwood Spotted Gum Riverbank

• Waterproof hybrid construction – Trigon® limestone-composite core that will not swell or warp, so it can be laid throughout the home including kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.
• 0.5mm wear layer with PUR coating – built for pets, kids and high-traffic living areas.
• Realistic timber look – embossed matte surface and micro-bevel edges give each plank the texture and shadow line of a real timber board.
• Quiet underfoot – 1.5mm acoustic backing is pre-attached, so no separate underlay is needed.
• Unipush® tap fold-down locking – floats over most existing hard floors; no glue, fast installation.
• 25-year residential warranty from Godfrey Hirst, an Australian company since 1865.

Where it works best

Because Apollo Hardwood is waterproof and hard wearing, Spotted Gum Riverbank can run through open-plan living, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms and wet areas without a change of floor at doorways. Its dark tone works best in bright, generous rooms and gives strong contrast to pale walls and light furniture.

Installation and care

Apollo Hardwood floats over concrete slabs, tiles, timber and existing sheet flooring that is flat, dry and clean. Boards click together with the Unipush® tap fold-down system and need no glue, and the attached backing means no extra underlay. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
