NFD Eternity Natural Oak – golden oak engineered timber flooring
Natural Oak is the golden oak colour in NFD’s Eternity range. Eternity European Oaks is a 14mm engineered oak with a 3mm wear layer on a cross-laminated core – real timber that can be re-sanded, with 5G click joints. Natural Oak is one of 8 colours in the range.
Why choose Eternity Natural Oak
- Real 3mm European oak wear layer – genuine timber that can be re-sanded and refinished later in life.
- Engineered core – far more stable than solid timber, so boards resist cupping and gapping through Australian seasons.
- Brushed matte finish – low-sheen, low-maintenance and ready to walk on straight after installation.
- 5G click installation – float over underlay or glue down.
- 25-year residential, lifetime structural warranty from NFD (National Flooring Distributors).

Where it works best
Natural Oak suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas, and can be laid over most existing hard floors. Engineered timber is not recommended for bathrooms or laundries. Its mid tone is the most forgiving choice for everyday marks and suits almost any wall colour.
Installation and care
Eternity floats over a flat, dry subfloor on underlay or is glued down. Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a timber-floor cleaner; use felt pads under furniture and keep humidity moderate.

Frequently asked questions
Is this real timber?
Yes. The top layer is 3mm European oak bonded to an engineered core – the same wood as a solid floor, with far better stability.
Can it be sanded and refinished?
Yes. The 3mm wear layer allows refinishing over the life of the floor.
How many cartons do I need?
Each carton covers 2.17m². Measure your room area, add about 10% for cuts and wastage, and divide by 2.17.
