Melrose is a grey-beige oak with a weathered, matte look. It suits modern and coastal-grey interiors. Regent 1200 is Godfrey Hirst’s value glue-down plank: a 2.5mm board with a full 0.5mm wear layer and P5 slip rating. All colours are also available in the longer, thicker Regent 1500. Melrose is one of 12 colours in the range.

Installation and care
Regent 1200 is a direct-stick product: the subfloor must be flat, dry and smooth (concrete slabs usually need a levelling compound), and the planks are glued with a pressure-sensitive vinyl adhesive. We recommend professional installation. Sweep or vacuum regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner.
