Cemimax DP90 – bonding primer for non-absorbent floors
DP90 is a one-component, low-emission dispersion primer with carbon-fibre technology. It gives levelling compounds a grip on the surfaces they would otherwise slide off: tiles, sealed concrete, old water-resistant adhesive residue, terrazzo and existing sheet vinyl.
Key features
- Film-forming primer for smooth, sealed and non-absorbent surfaces
- Bonds levelling compound over well-bonded adhesive residues
- Low emission, solvent free, interior and exterior use
- Can be diluted with water for absorbent surfaces
- Touch dry in 15–20 minutes
Where to use it
Before Cemimax DL33, DL55, DL59 or Floating Master on tiles, sealed or power-floated concrete, terrazzo, existing vinyl and adhesive residue. For bare absorbent concrete use DP89 instead.
How to use it
Surface must be clean, sound and free of dust and grease. Apply undiluted with a roller or brush in a thin, even film and let it dry to a clear, almost tack-free film before pouring the levelling compound.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to prime before levelling?
Yes. Priming stops the levelling compound drying too fast on absorbent slabs and gives it a bond on smooth or sealed surfaces, so it does not crack or delaminate.
How much do I need?
Coverage depends on the surface; see the technical data above and allow more for rough or porous concrete.
